Personal Emergency Response System (PERS)

A PERS is a tone/pulse dialing system based on a wireless call button to activate the emergency unit in the residence. The unit requires access to a standard telephone outlet and 110V power outlet and is based on a two-way voice unit that opens communication through a speaker phone between the end user and the communications operator when the emergency pendant is activated.

The communications operator can then determine the urgency of the situation and act accordingly. If the subscriber is unable to respond, the operator will dispatch help immediately.

The PERS unit has many flexible features such as inactivity alarm or an optional wireless door indicator for wandering symptoms. Up to three wireless alarm pendants can be programmed into each unit The unit also has a waterproof pendant that can be worn in the bath or shower.
